The challenge

The Texas startup set out to give pet owners instant insight into their companions’ location, activity, and safety but lacked the embedded systems, cloud security, and user-experience expertise needed to merge low-power collar hardware with a consumer-grade mobile experience. Any radio drop, battery drain, or sluggish onboarding flow could cripple subscription revenue, undermine user trust, and stall investor milestones in the competitive real-time location-tracking market.

Infolitz deployed a cross-functional squad of embedded engineers, cloud architects, and Flutter developers. We engineered a tri-radio state machine in Zephyr that prioritizes BLE advertising, shifts to DA16200 Wi-Fi when pets are near home, and promotes to LTE-M with TLS 1.3 on the move.

Our Flutter team build app to stream data AWS IoT Core MQTT and used backed by Firebase Cloud Messaging for reliable push alerts.
