The Challenge
The client, operating in the fast-paced Nordic construction sector, required a flexible and scalable website that could keep up with their growing project portfolio and multilingual content demands. Their existing CMS was restrictive, making content updates tedious and delaying time-to-market for announcements and service changes.
They needed a solution that would decouple content management from front-end performance, enable fast deployment cycles, and support future integrations with marketing and analytics tools. All while maintaining speed, responsiveness, and high availability.
Our Solution
We architected a headless CMS solution using Contentful to manage all website content via API, eliminating dependency on monolithic platforms. The React.js front-end, styled with Tailwind CSS, ensures a lightweight and highly responsive user experience across devices and browsers.
Deployment on Google Cloud Platform's Cloud Run enabled serverless, auto-scaling capabilities with minimal overhead. This move not only boosted performance but also reduced operational complexity. We followed a clean separation of concerns—keeping the content backend isolated and API-driven while the frontend handled rendering with dynamic content fetched on load.
API integration between Contentful and React ensured real-time content rendering with zero-latency page loads. Using standard architecture also allows for fast onboarding of future developers and seamless integration of SEO, CRM, or eCommerce modules if needed.
This future-proof digital foundation positioned the client to support multi-region deployment, A/B testing, and advanced personalization without overhauling the codebase.
By leveraging headless CMS and cloud-native deployment, we unlocked agility and maintainability at scale, setting a benchmark for digital maturity in the construction sector.
